Q: I’m really interested in powder brows, but I don’t know if I’m ready to make that commitment yet. Is there something that I can do with my brows in the meantime, while I’m debating on whether to go permanent?
A: Absolutely it’s called Henna Brow.
Henna Brow is a great stepping stone to permanent brows. The same mapping and pre-drawing process is used to create your desired look. And the Henna stain will last two to four weeks, so you can really get a feel for certain styles and colors without the commitment.
Q: How long does henna last on the eyebrow?
A: Henna brows usually last up to 2 weeks on the skin and up to 6 weeks on the eyebrow hairs.
Q: Does permanent makeup hurt?
A: We’re happy to inform you that permanent makeup generally does not hurt.
You might feel a bit of discomfort, but nothing that’s going to scare you away. In fact, a lot of our clients actually fall asleep. We also use numbing cream throughout the procedure to ensure that yours comfortable as possible.
Q: What is soft tap permanent makeup?
A: Soft Tap is when a manual tool is used to softly ‘tap’ pigment into the skin. This technique can be used to create a soft make up look or to create hair strokes.
Q: Can I get permanent makeup if I’m pregnant?
A: No. Pregnancy can drastically change the texture of your skin. When you are pregnant your skin can be a lot more sensitive, skin can be slower to heal, be at greater risk for infection, and produce undesired results. The numbing cream that is used may cause a potential risk for the baby. You must wait 6 months after you are done breastfeeding in order to level out your hormones. After that point, you can have a permanent makeup appointment and we can better guarantee your results.
Q: How can I get rid of an ingrown toenail? Can you cut it out?
A: Unfortunately, nail techs do not have the qualifications or tools for something so invasive as that. Toenails that are deeply embedded into the skin need to be removed by a podiatrist. A Podiatrist has the proper training and tools to remove an ingrown toenail safely and effectively.
Q: What are curtain Lashes?
A: Curtain Lashes are when your natural lashes are long and grow downwards, covering a part of your eyeball.
They can be extremely annoying and they are more likely to get into your eyeball once your lash sheds out. Which is very irritating for your eyes.
If this describes YOUR lashes, you should come in to see us for a Lash Lift. It will feel so good to have those lashes out of your line of vision and not fall into your eye as often.
